I am a novice at this
I need someone to make a scymatic to wire a lm555 to run a 9v motor on for a second and a half then off for a second and a half. I'm sure this is simple for some I just dont have the know how to figure the capasitor and resistors i need.

You can not not think.
Basically you pick a value, using some common sense, and see what pops out of the other equations.

Have you searched Google or the forums already? Because the answers are there.. There is more documentation on the 555 on the Internet than almost any other single IC in existence.
