    clock for ADC7478

    hello all,i want to generate clock for ADC with frequency of 500khz and actually a haven't an idea, can i use crystal oscillator to do? and how. thanks for any help.

    Any type of digital oscillator such as an RC (for example using a 555) or crystal designs will work. It depends upon the clock accuracy you require.

    thanks for your reply, iwould ask another one : if i want to get negative 8 volt from a 12volt supply,,how?

    You use a switching regulator. You can buy them as a module or build your own from parts (such as these SIMPLE SWITCHER Home - Switchers Made Simple, Switching Regulators/Converters, Simple Switcher Controllers, Switched-Capacitor Regulators, Buck, Boost, & Buck-Boost Regulators, WEBENCH Power Supply Design & Simulation).
