hello all,i want to generate clock for ADC with frequency of 500khz and actually a haven't an idea, can i use crystal oscillator to do? and how. thanks for any help.

please if any have an idea...i'll be thankful,,i need it as soon as possible.
Any type of digital oscillator such as an RC (for example using a 555) or crystal designs will work. It depends upon the clock accuracy you require.

thanks for your reply, iwould ask another one : if i want to get negative 8 volt from a 12volt supply,,how?
You use a switching regulator.
