Default Micrel 10937P-50/10937P-40?

I've found this chip on a board with a 4x4 button matrix and a VFD alphanumerical display, but not knowing what it does may hamper it's use for me (Heheh.) If anyone can shed some light on this chip, I'd be happy. I've tried searching Google, but to no avail.
