optical mouse
can anyone provide me with the datasheet of the sensor/ic used in optical mouse.

I'm sorry but it's highly unlikely that anyone will be able to give toy that.
Do you have the part number of the IC? The chances are it's an application specific IC and is only sold to one manufacturer, therefore there will be no way of attaining a datasheet for it.

its your lucky day kid(if you are younger than 20)..
here is the site. i think it has all the mouse sensor data sheets. hope it solves your problem. do write on in what way are you trying to use it.I will we using it in a person sensor circuit.
