hello, I have a circuit that calls for a MPSA40 NPN transistor.... can somebody suggest an equivalent transistor?

hello i have a book for equivalents and i did not find it

but could you tell me the type if the trans.(NPN PNP)

and the type of the cct.

this could be able me to suggest the equ.

It appears to be a small-signal, NPN general purpose transistor such as 2N3904 as it's used in that circuit.

That's funny, Subzero. He found your app note. MPSA40 must be a typo. I already told you a 2N3904 would work. Didn't believe me, huh? :twisted:
