hello! does any1 have a list or a link to a website where i can find a list of the most common resitor values. i need this list because i want to oreder some resitors that i will use when maiking prototypes. thanks in advance! | |

Values fall into either E12 or E24...........viz: E12....1, 1.2 1.5 1.8 2.2 2.7 3.3 3.9 4.7 5.6 6.8 8.2 and decades of. E24......1.1 1.3 ........... you get the picture ? | |

not really..... i know that the values from E12 as you call it, are the ones i can find. thanks for the values, but what is it the rule....about getteing the values.....i can't see a uniform pattern. | |

Bogdan - try this : http://www.elexp.com/t_eia.htm EIA (Electronics Industry Association?) seems to be either the keeper of this stuff or was at one time. Not sure why the progressions but may learn that eventually.
