Help me find electrical circuit simple Optical Time-Domain Reflectometr

I'm sorry but I don't think that the words "Optical Time-Domain Reflectometer" and the word "simple" belong in the same sentence.

Even a used unit from Agilient, without any accessories starts at around 8,000 dollar U.S. Lasers and connection modules can cost nearly as much as the base unit. New ones are at least twice that cost.
