The Device Database from Dataman is a free resource with information on over 12,500 programmable devices including EPROMs, EEPROMs, Flash and Microcontrollers as well as thousands of datasheets available to download.

The database staff will also be happy to try and answer any questions you have regarding programable devices.

Anways, its good, provides basic info. and also link to datasheet for some chips.

One thing I would like to say about Dataman Programmers. They are excellent ! I have used it during my training. But they are too costly and generally out of reach of hobbyists/small manufacturers who want to try their hands on different programmable devices/microcontrollers.
I wish there was atleast one professionaly made low cost universal programmer which is affordable to hobbyists/small manufacturers.
