For those of us that have been using the BLUE SHOWER Cleaner/Degreaser spray for years with virtually no problem, it needs to now be noted, that not all of the BLUE SHOWER sprays are of equal value. For the most part, they are, EXEPT for the latest, which is BLUE SHOWER G3. This is absolutely nasty on plastics, even tho it says that it's "Safe on most plastics"... IT IS NOT! The BLUE SHOWER II is safe tho.
So if anyone uses BLUE SHOWER for electronic servicing, please be careful and DO NOT use the BLUE SHOWER G3, especially on plastics. I just had a bad experience cleaning slide switches with BLUE SHOWER G3 and it fused all the switches, as it melted the plastic in the switches. I have informed Techspray (maker of BLUE SHOWER) about this problem. BLUE SHOWER II - OK BLUE SHOWER G3 - BAD! Bob Henry |
