I'm with you Samcheetah.
I was trying to make a price / speed / instruction comparison.

I keep forgetting that sometimes people can be "smiliy face" deficient.
You will notice that there is one after the "beat up" statement.

My apologies to the forum if I stirred up the coals.

I saw this post after I posted mine.
Now I feel duped. (<- Note: Smiliy face alert)

For the benefit of information, what does this 125Mhz chip of yours cost?

So lets say that its $8.
Under two per SX, thats 4 SX's at 75mhz = 300Mhz.
Does that count?

Whoops, I just remembered this is a Poll thread.
I'll stop now.

Speed is definitely not the primary asset I seek in a microcontroller... I like having many I/O's and options and stuff... But the fact that both our friends r statin' their mind is good though: this will reveal the advantages of each chip... I just didn't like the 'tone' of their conversation, it made me ops: ... Chill up guys 8) :!:
