Current Stuffs

Hmm. My current projects all seem to be backlogged and intertwined.
My CNC mill needs a L297/L298 board, and that'll be way easier with a manufactured board; however, the board would need to be produced by the mill unless I can sneak some ferric chloride home.
My RFID reader is on back burner, waiting for board manufacturing to become available.
My fan controller for my computer is still in design phase, I'm not quite sure how I want to interface it to my motherboard, and how I'll go about writing the software to run it.
All in all, I think I might wait until the fall, when I can get boards done for free at school. With silkscreening, etc. Good stuff.
Enjoying the updates to the forum; seems like it'll be even better now.
...Digg, here we come.

How large is the PCB CNC L297/L298 board ?
Did you use Eagle ? |

It was probably about 3"x5". I lost it recently when my computer needed a reformat (and I didn't have a backup of it).
I'm pretty sure if I worked at it for a while I could get it to fit ExpressPCB's service or just get my school to go through them for free (for me). Either way, looks like I'll be starting from scratch on the board. I'll look up some examples as well. I guess that answers your questions? I did use Eagle for it; I wouldn't use anything else. |
