The story of my life - Part 1

Blog entry posted in 'My Life', June 14, 2010.

This is the story of my life.

Being German probably not everybody will be interested in it - so forget about reading any further.

I was born on the 5th of April (Easter Sunday 1942) in Arys/East Prussia, son of a traditional East prussian mother and a Rhineland (Cologne) father.

My father served at "Arbeitsdienst" in the III. Reich and was obsessed by his work that he missed to get proper treatment for an appendicitis, resulting in early death when he was 32 years old. leaving behind my elder brother, me and my younger sister - not to forget about his wife.

Russians got closer to East Prussia every day and rumors said they would even nail old women to barn doors by their tongues to sexually misuse them and shoot them when the "job" was done.

So my mother decided to take off to go west, where Americans (civilized people) had superiority.

It was an awefully hard journey to cover 1,000 km on feet with three babies, but she finally made it and we landed in Coburg (Upper Frankonia, Bavaria)

On the way through maroding soviet troops one mother choked her baby to death not to reveal the hideout in a barn - just because it was caughing.

We started living again in Coburg, being closely observed Coburg citizens. (Refugess don't have a right to live!)

When I was six years old I had to attend school as prescribed by goverment policies.

The first week was good and I enjoyed learning and also learned quickly.

The second week started out with a desaster for my main teacher. She called me: "Pig of refugee, to return to East Prussia to get shot immetiately" (Which I found was not polite). I grabbed a 7X10X5mm eraser and threw it against her head - with 100% hit, making her unconsciously sink to the floor.

After she recovered she slapped me some good ones, not being unanswered. A pure Aries knows how to use his head. I rammed my head into her belly making her unconscious for another five minutes.

She showed up at my parent's house in the evining complaining what I had done to her. My mother heard the story and answered: "I'm also a pig of refugee! Take that!" and almost beat her to death if my stepfather hadn't stopped her.

Strange enough, after all those years I recall her name clearly. It was "Wesky".

That was just about the "Welcome" of Germans within Germany.

    More to follow

    Regards

    Hans

painful to note that a doctor( though dentist) could not have a chance to take care of his own health. I could imagine the hard realities of war. so painful for the lady to take care of all of you, while searching for a place of decent safety for herself. what a early troubles in life for the children as you were then. Not only Jesus took the pains, being born on Easter day, you too had enough .. any way life is like that. present children are much better building their future.

I hope you continue this, it sounds like you have had quite a life so far, and you tell it well.
