Class
829 DSD: Intro to Digital Sound Processing on the dsPIC™ Digital Signal Controller

Abstract
This class presents the design of a working digital sound application based on the dsPICDEM 1.1 General Purpose Demo Board. Attendees will learn how a delay line structure can be used to process streaming data and how to estimate processor utilization in a realtime system. Hands-on labs will demonstrate sound processing techniques using a voice-band CODEC. Note this class will not cover DSP algorithms.
