This electronic "Jeopardy" game circuit consists of four push-button switches. When one is pressed, the corresponding output is turned on. The outputs can be connected to a siren or lights to indicate the winner.
How it Works
When a push-button is pressed, the corresponding 'flip-flop' is triggered. As a result, the output is turned on, and remains on, even after the switch is released. Also, a HI signal is sent to each of the 'NOR' gates. This locks out the other three inputs, therefore preventing the other outputs from turning on. The triggered output will remain on until the reset button is pressed. Pressing the reset button will reset each of the 'flip-flops', permitting another input to be triggered.
