Question on solar cells - Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free

I have two solar cell that both are 6 volt, one 1.6 watts and the other is 2.0 and I wanted to know if I put them in parapaell would they work ok and give me higher current for charging a battery.

Yes they would, probably best to have a diode in series with each though, and connect them separately to the battery (a simple OR gate).
