Modifing a lead acid charger
Hi All i have a 20A 15V Lead Acid battery Charger witch Stop charging when the battery Reach a certen Voltage that can be changed by a variable risistor
but when it reach to this voltage the voltage drops slowly and starts charge again every aprox 2 Min I think if i alter the charger to step down the voltage to 13.5 V when the battery reach the certen volt insead of Stop charging will be better and maximize the battery life First how to convert the 15V to 13.8V Second Any Idias in how to switch (I think i use relay) ?
