Default Different solar panels

I have 10w and 30w solar panels. Also I have a charge controller. Can I connect parallel the different power panels directly. Do they effect each other? Will there be problem electrically. Do i have to use at least one diode ?

Best regards.

They don't effect each other as long each panel has its own diode
make sure you controler can handel the power but 40 W in total should not be a problem for the most controlers

Thank you rjvh.

One more question:
We know a schottky cause a voltage lost. Can i decrease the lost connecting more schottkys to each parallel?

It's only about 0.3V, negligible.
