I remember seeing this robot as a work in progress a few years ago. It looks like they have come a long way, as I remember seeing video of that thing, going very wrong. Quite amazing, but also somewhat creepy(to me anyway). I had forgotten all about it until I saw it mentioned in the latest issue of "Electronic design".
